Department of Materials Engineering and Welding
The Department of Materials Engineering and Welding coordinates two bachelor's degree programmes: Welding Engineering accredited by CNEAA (National Council for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation) in 2005 and by ARACIS (Romanian Agency for Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions) in 2010 and 2015, and Industrial Safety Engineering accredited by ARACIS in 2014. The department also offers two master's degree programmes: Welding Engineering of Advanced Materials, accredited by ARACIS in 2009 and Work Safety and Work Health Engineering since 2015. Doctoral studies are also offered in the field of Engineering Sciences, the sub-fields of Industrial Engineering and Materials Engineering. The postgraduate studies coordinated by the department are Risk Level Assessment and Audit in the Field of OSH and Initiation in the field of OSH.
